Tips From Others

Great Tip: Buy the DVD this site is offering, it's packed full of info you should know before you go.

Good Tip: If you don't want to be awaken in the middle of the night for 'bed check', use 2 rubber bands from the disposable shavers box to adhere your ID to the foot of your bedpost.

Good Tip: Don't eat around your bunk. Crumbs bring ants and mice.

If you have ants, put a bunch of hand soaps from the bathroom into an empty plastic soda bottle from the vending machine and fill it with water. Let it sit over night and pour it where the ants are crawling. It will stop the invasion.

Good Tip: Sweep out the tent floor daily. Share the responsibility. The brooms are in the area of the wash machines.

Make your bunk daily when you awaken. Keeping your tent looking good goes a long way with the detention officers.

READ THIS: If you are going to the tents for a DUI and are on work release, dress in layers. Its cold in the cells when you check in. But, its hot outside when you finally get to your bunk in the tent.
